Brew Schedule and Other Stuff

For now I have but a stop to "brewing" for the foreseeable future.  I need to lose some weight, and drinking home brew will hinder that goal.  Also I plan on moving soon, so I don't need 2-3 carboys full of fermenting beer to haul off to the new place.  Once I get settled and drop some weight, I will begin home brewing again.  Of course I am not one to sticking with goals so it may start back up sooner than later cause I love to brew.

In the mean time I plan on using this blog also to keep up with workouts, weight loss, food recipes, etc.  So watch out for that.  Hopefully after dropping some, I can learn to live in balance and in moderation.  Hopefully this blog will help me on that.

In the meantime I plan on making a Cider, which as far as brewing goes is easy.  There is no boiling, mashing, sparging, just add cider, peptic enzyme, campden tablet and yeast.  Let it sit for about a year, bottle and serve.  I might make the occasional "sour" beer, being that they take a very long time to ferment and it's not really a quick turn around beer.  Hopefully I can come up with some kind of Cider recipe soon and see how it will turn out.
